Yoga pants, turmeric lattes, a cleaner, Psycle, organic food, eco tourism, cycling, art classes, ethical bags. And private school, violin lessons and experiential days out for our kids.
The new spending habits of the aspirational class. A new inconspicuous way to show our wealth.
A way of spending our money that makes us feel better about our choices. A way of spending our money that perpetuates wealth inequality more than ever.
We all need to think about this carefully. I certainly do.
